1. Open your command-line
2. Type IPCONFIG /all
3. note the addresses for you DNS servers
4. Go into the properties for the active NIC
5. Uncheck IPv6, if it is checked <very important>
6. Select "Use the Following DNS server Addresses”
7. Enter the IP addresses

8. Click OK all the way out
9. You should be all set.

Access Hidden Themes

 

There are regional Themes that come with Windows seven. You may access them and install them by following the directions below.

1. Click the Pearl, .
2. Type the following path into the search textbox: C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT. Press enter.
3. There are for folders there. Browse the four folders, and double click the “theme” file in each to install.

How to Disable UAC….

1. Click the Pearl , click inside the text box.
2. Type msconfig 
3. Click on the tools tab. 
4. Select “Change UAC Settings”, then click launch.
5. Move the scroller to “Never Notify” and close the window & reboot.
